Since 1943,                                                Gemco Manufacturing has provided precision progressive die metal stampings, fourslide / multislide stamped and formed components, wireforms and springs to OEM manufacturers.

While these economic times are testing each    and every one of our companies, the best of us     are working to firmly position ourselves for the economy to turn and for manufacturing and industrial growth to resume.

With that in mind, and with the intent of moving Gemco into new markets, we have recently acquired Fabor Fourslide of Connecticut. Fabor has been providing high quality fourslide components for over twenty eight years and the transfer of their operations into our Southington, Connecticut facility has transformed Gemco into one of the largest fourslide and metal stamping facilities in the northeast region. Our facility now houses over fifty fourslide machines and twelve progressive die power presses ranging from 15 to 100 Tons.

Like Gemco Manufacturing, Fabor Fourslide was a family owned business that focused on service and quality. Over the years they had developed solid business relationships with a variety of industries that we were not previously involved with. This acquisition puts Gemco  in a position to not only grow our business but to broaden it across new diversified markets which will result in a stronger and more viable future for Gemco Manufacturing and our customers.

With this acquisition, we have welcomed key individuals who were responsible for the success of Fabor Fourslide. As you know, employees committed to quality and service are the pulse of a company, such is the case with these individuals. They have been welcomed into the Gemco family and are working alongside of our valued longtime employees. I am confident that these new team members will be active contributors to our current and future success.
